Jiangsu Ouqiao Worsted Co., Ltd. is situated in Tangqiao town, Zhangjiagang city, where is close to the Express Way Alongside Yangtse River and the 204 State Road. About 2 hours car-way from Shanghai Pudong International Airport, it is easy of access. It covers a land area of 116mu, with the building area of 60,000 square meters. Since its establishment in 1984, Ouqiao has developed into a large private enterprise with a line of woolen tops combing, tops dyeing, recombing, spinning, weaving and finishing. The annual output of worsted fabric is 6 million meters, woolen fabric is 1 million meters, and acrylic knitted cloth is above 1,200 tons. Our fashionable fabrics are sold well both in domestic and overseas markets, including EU countries, America, Japan, Canada, Mid-East and HongKong, etc.
In 2001, we took large-scale, omnibearing technical innovation in our spinning, weaving and finishing workshop and imported over 100 advanced dyeing, spinning, weaving and finishing devices from Germany, Italy, Switzerland, with an investment of 70 million RMB. Nowadays, the technical level and automatic degree of devices are enhanced rapidly, and has reached the advanced level in the wool industry. Meanwhile, a series of service equipments of water, electricity, steam and sewage treatment are equipped strictly according to the modern standard. To participate in market competition, we adopt European textile working standard, our products were awarded with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 in 2005.
The total assets of our company are 120 million RMB, inclusive of 45 million RMB current assets, and the asset-liability ratio is 2.6%.
